We are an international advocacy organization. Our mission is to advance gender equality in and through sports by pressuring decision makers to change abusive and discriminatory policies, practices, and laws that obstruct safety, access, and equality for women and girls.

Sport changes girls’ lives. It has enormous potential to advance the rights, health, and well-being of girls and open doors to education, leadership and opportunity. 

But first, girls have to be able to stay in sport to reap its lifelong benefits.

KEEPING GIRLS IN SPORTS STARTS WITH SAFETY

Our goal is to ensure that major sporting events, and sport more broadly, put the safeguarding policies and practices in place that help girls stay in sport.

Because:

ACCESS means girls have the opportunity to join sport.

SAFETY helps make it possible for them to stay.

EQUALITY means girls can share fully in the benefits and opportunities that sport can provide.

Keeping girls in sport starts with making sure sport is a place where girls can be safe, supported and heard.

Every girl has the right to play sport, and she shouldn’t have to choose between her safety and her right to play.
